Did you know:
If you hire an uninsured hood cleaner that he is covered by your workers compensation policy. His injury will be your problem.

The first question the fire department will ask if there is a fire which includes the kitchen ducts is, “Who cleaned your duct system?’

We take pictures of our work. You can see what we did and we can prove you had your system properly cleaned.

Our technicians undergo extensive practical training and rigorous written examination.

If a roof fan is not cleaned it will break down much faster, it will not draw as well, which leaves even more grease in the ducts, and air quality in kitchen becomes unhealthy.

IKECA is the only fully accredited certification board and the only one which requires a closed book, proctored examination.

The National Fire Prevention Standard 96 is the minimum standard of safety adopted by most fire departments. In the NFPA 96 hoods must be cleaned from the filters through the duct work and the roof fan must be cleaned. Many duct systems need cleaning access doors. Fans are required to have hinges so they can be cleaned. Only properly certified hood exhaust cleaners are permitted to clean hoods.
